The Certificate of pride for humanity and the liveliest program of statesmanship

One of the most important certificates of pride for the Islamic society, specially the Shias, is the letter of Imam Ali (peace be upon Him) to Malik al – Ashtar,[1] which is considered as one of the most authentic declarations of human rights even after about 1400 years.

          The sentences and expressions of this letter, is valuable, attractive and astonishing in all different sections of statesmanship and attention towards the rights of society, and the protection of all the different aspects.

          This letter, both in the past and at present, is studied and analyzed by the scholars and great sages, and several explanations have been written on it, one among which is the explanation of Tawfeeq al – Fakeeki by the name “Ar – Ra’yi war Ra’iyyah”.
